LIFF Laboratory - Oppenheimer

until 12 September

Scientist Oppenheimer leads the secret Manhattan Project during World War II, where he and a group of scientists attempt to develop the atomic bomb. This will drastically and permanently change the world.

Directed by Christopher Nolan and featuring actors such as Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt, this film was the big winner at the last Oscars with no less than seven awards. A sensational thriller about the mysterious man who, in order to save the world, must take the risk of its complete destruction. During the Days of Arts&Science, LIFF will host a screening of Oppenheimer at the Kamerlingh Onnes building: a fitting location, considering Oppenheimer was affiliated with the Leiden University as a young physicist.
